That's the beauty of Fury though and the story of his entire career. High and low. Up and down. Retired. Not retired. Bi polar as it gets. It's a shame both his elbows are shot to pieces.
Good to come in lighter. There is little to no benefit of carrying a lot of extra fat. As long as he lost the weight and had the time to acclimate to it, the weight loss should be beneficial. If he lost the weight too fast, he could weakened.
Fury really afraid of that rabbit... But that's good. Light Fury should be quicker and better. His chance is much higher if he can delete difference in speed to minimum. But question is how being on minus with calories work on his strenght. Yes they are prpfesional, probably use PED also soo it smaller problem for them than for "normal" person but still. Fury quick on feet with that reach advantage will be very difficult to beat
Usyk wins this fight either way, but i'd say a solid 255 Fury would be more useful that a 270 fury which has much higher bodyfat %. He doesnt need that extra 20lbs because he'll bully Usyk size wise either way.. Just less to carry and a bit more solid would be better imo.
Its not really Bipolar, its the diet of his folk. Exercise = skinny fat, Non exercise = manboobs and womans hips. Although Tommy seems to be able to stay in good shape, maybe he eats different food
Its not the diet he just went to 400lbs and did a lot of coke, you can come down from that like he did, but his body just can't be low fat % anymore he's ruined his body's systems
Alot of cokeheads are ripped to shreds, or should i say skeletons. How do you think he got to 400lbs, beer and a lifetime supply of Krystals Kebabs.
Ultimately no matter how Fury trained through his career he would have never got away from his weak joints. Ankles were an issue and them elbow joints pretty much wore away overnight. Can't escape genetics.
Fury actually looks physically stronger in recent training videos I have seen despite him being lighter which shows he has taken his training seriously this time. Only concern I have is he looks slower than he was in the past, in the N'Gannou fight his punch resistance looked shaky as well.
He's training carefully, pulling punches not going all out. Too easy to get injured Usyk the same. Both of these guys are aiming for 80% of their prime form.
I think diet plays a big role in joint issues and white powder is definitely bad for your bones. He does seem like he may have some arthritis.
It's called spending over 14 years of your life punching objects for a living. No career boxer at the end of their career is injury free. Haye managed to sham a bunch of casuals out of a few paydays with the Bellew fights with blown shoulders, ankles and knees. Fury & Usyk to me look pretty badly worn and want the hell out of there. Usyk had his last hurrah in the 1st AJ bout. Fury in the 2nd Wilder bout. 2020 & 2021 respectively. Fury's elbows are truly gone now and Usyk seems to have managed his shoulder issues pretty well but his soft belly issues are more clear than ever. Fury tearing him about and making him work hard is going to strain Usyk. Usyk's will strain Fury early with his footwork but it won't last.
