I've just read that Fury got 5 million for each of his 2 fights......did he seriously get paid that much in his deal with Warren??

Here is the extract from Google news.....

"Hearn proposed a three-fight deal which would have seen Fury earn £3 million for the first bout but Fury opted to join Warren's stable and has made £5 million from each of his two fights this year.

So it's safe to say that he doesn't regret his decision."

And it's safe to say that I'm stunned

    5 million a can.

Can't fault Fury for taking that easy money.

Fury's the lineal champion, he deserves every single penny.

Joshua gets more and he's not even lineal.

    You deserve what you draw.
And it's not Joshuas fault that Fury sat on the shelf for years.

He leaked an email off Hearn where Eddie was offering £3 mill per fight for a mutually agreed opponent so I presume warrens fee will be in the same ballpark and not just 250k etc

If Fury was earning £5m for each can on a small show Frank must be losing so much money.

Fury got 5 million pounds each against Seferi and Pianeta? That's hard to believe. Is there any data corroborating this?

Why didn't he sign with Hennessy? Mick would pay him £20 million for each fight while putting them on YouTube PPV.

Let's assume this figure is correct. Eddie wanted Fury to fight Bellew and Whyte prior to AJ. Each of those would've been PPV and it's therefore feasible to get to that figure for each fighter. He wouldn't have got 3mill for Kauffman though. I also put forward the controversial suggestion that Eddie would not have paid Fury 3m to fight the second best Albanian cruiser weight and a man that was last in any way relevant sometime in 2012?

Ask the question another way. Is the person signing cheques at BT sport a big Brash loud spoken man who lives in a caravan?

I believe 5 million for Wilder, but 5 for each of them sub 100 opponents that's burning money in a way even RocNation wouldn't consider.

Eddie Hearn is such a snivelling slimy bitter ****.

Look at the way he’s pandering to Tyson in that leaked email, using words like “exciting” and “blow the boxing world right up” and then now that Fury is with Warren and taking a fight Joshua ran from him he is calling him boring and deriding the Wilder fight:

Yeah ok Hearn, that’s why you offered this guy a £3m purse for his comeback fight.

If he's getting 5 mill for each of those first 2 come back fights, Warren is losing millions on those 2 fights and Hearn must be loving the fact Warren had to throw money away to secure signing Fury. I doubt Whyte got paid that vs Parker and he sold over 400K PPV's.

Considering Fury's track record with the truth I highly doubt he's making that and is just trying to create more media attention for his upcoming fight vs Wilder.

Hearn has made a lot of losses with some of his shows too. Most notably Makabu v Bellew. Although tbf to Hearn he admitted he put that on at a loss because he wanted to give Bellew the chance to fight at Goodison and anyway the Haye fights have more than made up for that financial loss.

In a similar vein, Frank is probably overpaying Fury with a long term plan in mind. If he beats Wilder and then gets the AJ fight, he’ll likely made a significant profit on Fury.

Also Fury didn’t leak that email for media attention. He leaked it because bitter Hearn gave about a dozen interviews in Chicago over the weekend deriding the Wilder fight and stating that Fury will bore people to sleep if he wins. Perhaps Hearn should shut his sleazy mouth and he won’t be subject to further embarrassing exposures.
