Cups need to get change in boxing BADLY. They look ridiculous, make the trunks look more ridiculous and are used for blantent cheating. Cups are yet another thing that MMA seems to get right and boxing gets wrong.

They wear cups that protect their balls not their torso. Normal cups like they wear in cricket but with a strap on it.

 

yeah alot of amas are wearing them theyre much better then them massive groin protectors which i feel like they weigh u down a bit.

and like you said - getting those protectors changed is probably the biggest challenge facing worl boxing at the moment. i can think of no other more serious and pressing problem........:-(
