Dont underestimate the mind games at play here. Usyk’s team dont care about the beard, theyre trying to prove theyre on top by forcing fury to shave it. Now the real 4D chess move will be fury getting permission to keep the beard & then shaving it off anyway. That will send a message to the usyk team that your tactic didn’t work & I do what I want without any regard for you. While guys like joshua & wilder are pawns on the mind games chess board, usyk & fury are queens or bishops
Usyk is the ultimate road warrior who fights in his opponents’ back yards and consistently beats them. He’s a mentality monster, which is probably aided by his strict adherence to his faith. There’s not a chance in hell that Fury has “gotten in his head”. If Fury wins it will be because he either puts on a career best performance or gets gifted a decision. Mind games won’t have an impact.
I agree with this post, spot on mate. His country has been unjustly invaded over the last 2 years and he was based there for a year of the war with his children. He will not be concerned about someone he has beaten already and he has shown how mentally tough he has been during his whole boxing career.
Not a chance on earth he's in his head. Usyk is far too mentally stable and confident within himself. They did ban Usyk's cross though, which is strange, considering how much a super duper good fearing Christian man Fury is.
