I've been watching all of the Fury training videos and his handspeed is still good but it's masking the fact that his legs are pretty much totally gone.

If he had his movement and footspeed he'd have a chance but his upper body movement alone won't be enough

Wilder by brutal KO, AND I'm talking Szpilka style

I think there's a good chance Fury's legs will fail him, I think it happened to Ali in the Quarry comeback fight.

I wouldn't put any stock in the marketing videos however.

:idea:Ah!!!! And so Wilder gets zero credit for the Fury win then right? Vewy, Vewy Clever, you wascally wabbit you.

Maybe then that'll justify AJ ducking him some more, and the continued denigration of Wilder's resume too right?

    You're a real shrewd one infern0120239392.:picknose:

I actually think he wants Wilder to win purely based on his skin colour

Even suggesting that fans root based on skin complexion sounds completely nonsensical and utterly irrational.

I suspect your right. Wilder is the favourite for a reason, if this was Wilder taking on Fury after the Wlad win he wouldn't be favourite but now having been inactive and having looked less than 100% in his 2 comeback fights on paper Wilder should KO Fury.

Part of me wonders why Fury went the Wilder path to a title instead of facing Joshua in what is more likely a more lucrative fight and for greater prestige. Maybe he knows he doesn't have it anymore and wouldn't beat a decent name like Hearn wanted to get the Joshua fight and so Wilder was the better option.

But then again maybe he thinks beating Wilder gives him more leverage. Very risky move if that's his plan but you only have to see what Ortiz did. He was in a similar position had the mandatory with Joshua pending. Maybe he thought he could beat Wilder and get more than 25% for Joshua and Wilder proved he wasn't such an easy proposition and took Ortiz's 0 for a mere 500K.

Because Fury thinks he can get two paydays instead of one this way. Wilder's paying him very well, and even after Fury loses, he can say it was too early for him, pick up a few easy wins and fight Joshua in what will still be a massive PPV fight.

Vice versa, if Joshua KO'ed Fury first, Wilder vs Fury wouldn't have a hope of being PPV.

Maybe Fury needs the money along with a miracle.
He's legs are completely gone and he's become dangerously hittable.
Especially versus a bomber like Wilder.
    This aint gonna go 8.
But to provoke some people, i already know what's gonna happen when Joshua and Wilder meet.

People read an awful lot into training videos. Don’t think you can tell much either way really. Boxers will give as much or as little away as they want - look at Wilder’s awful video from the past few days.

It’s a big ask but Fury is a natural boxer and has been fighting since a small boy - unlike Joshua and Wilder. People are foolish to write him off..
