The pic is obviously real and his ankle swelling is visible in the pic.

 

And? The pics are fake, haven't you seen the vids of him partying and dancing and jumping yesterday? No way could he do that if he really had an ankle injury.

 

The injury probably faked because the tickets weren't selling.
He's not scared of Wladimir. It's more likely his promoters and broadcasters are scared of going bust.
