Fury's next challenger announced...

This should have been the first fight. Seferi was completely unnecessary.

 

Pianeta actually didn't do too badly against Milas last time out, it's not a great fight, of course, but it certainly isn't "worst of the worst"

I think it's decent. At least ive heard of him and he is fighting regularly. See how he looks this time. I think 1 more at this level then bellew.

 

Nailed it. Genuine heavy who s been in with some decent fighters and beaten some of them albeit best part of his career looks to be gone..

He should show some ambition unlike the last guy and then one more low tier fight before he steps back up... Got no problem with this fight. Sounds like he might be chinny but has 20 kos of his own so can't be completely disregarded which is what fury needs...someone to keep him focused and switched on.. he looked awful last time out lets hope for genuine improvement this go around

 

Dangerous opponent? Someone who has a pulse and ranked inside the top 100 would be a start.

 

What were people expecting?

The right plan to have was to ease him back against winnable opposition and lose some weight.

The constant moaning at the level of opponents is getting boring. It's not like he's main eventing PPVs against them.

 

That is probably what Fury said, and what's your point? You're mad because he wanted a few tune-ups before getting in with Joshua, Wilder, Parker etc?

Who would you have him face then? Second fight after a 2 year absence?

 

Agreed on this. If he was main event on a Ppv card then fair play have a moan up. Think this Is a fairly logical step, and people are not going to windsor park to see fury

 

At least it's a heavyweight this time. I think more important than the opposition is Fury's performance because he looked awful in the last fight and the antics in the fight were cringeworthy.

 

How about the guy that beat Pianeta in his last fight. Petar Milas.

A guy ranked 138 on box rec isn't a tune up opponent.

Mad na dude. Fury is irrelevant in this division and remains irrelevant until he fights someone decent.

We could just use the one which says Kevin Johnson stopped him. That says it all.

 

He should have fought that fella who threw the right hook in the crowd, think he's ranked 139 on Boxrec (apparently thats all that matters)
