Fury wants to fight for the Euro Title before a World title. He says he is not in a hurry for a World Title shot yet.

'I'm only just starting off at the moment. I just want to do it nice and steady. I'm going to go for the Irish title next followed by a defence of the British. Then maybe I can go for (Alexander) Dimitrenko who's got the European title.
    Thoughts?

Update: Canadian HW Champion Nevan Pajkic 16-0 is probably next

Sounds like he's got the next two years all tied up.
Guess we need not look for Fury vs Klitschko anytime soon...

So, next it looks like Fury will fight Martin Rogan for the Irish HW title . Then a British Title defense against question mark. Then the European championship is Fury's plan as of right now.

Fury is eligible to box for the vacant Irish crown thanks to his Romany family heritage and is eyeing a clash with veteran Belfast brawler Martin Rogan.

Rogan, 40, played an unusual cameo from ringside at Wembley, inexplicably springing from his seat to share some thoughts with the two combatants as they grappled on the ropes in round 10.

'I want to go to Kings Hall, Belfast for "Big Marty",' Fury added.

'I can't wait to get over there.'

He's got the right mindset. That'll give him time to keep developing properly instead of rushing him into the slaughterhouse. What he needs most of all is to continue having strong training camps to get his strength and fitness up to snuff. He's well on his way, but it'll take a few more for him to get to where he needs to be.

I think Dimitrenko would be a very tough fight for Fury.

Interesting. When I heard that he was fighting for the Irish title I thought Kevin McBride. It would good to see that fight as well.

Perfect thing for him to do imo. If he beats rogan and defends against price he establishes himself as domestic kingpin. Prob puts him about top 15 then.

A win over dmitrenko moves him top ten.

We don't need wlad pursuing a fight with this kid, let him develop at his own rate.

A McBride fight won't make sense, because McBride is going to lose to Mach next Saturday. :deal

Would be a great match and I think Dimi would win by UD or late stoppage. Sauerland Events wants Dimi to defend his title against Helenius after Sprott match if Dimi is victorious. So if that happens Fury has to wait for Helenius to fight for the worldtitle and he can fight for the vacated EBU title cause he absolutely stand no chance against Robbe! ;)

Good fight. Fury isn't all that talented but he is good for the sport.

You have to look at his talent in terms of a 6'9, 255lb giant.
