Well if he is, we will find out soon enough. I thought he was coming back serious for Joshua, but like you say he might be doing just that. Who knows, time will tell

Someone on the other forum said it’s Tom Dallas.

Not sure who he’ll fight but it’ll be someone as cheap as possible, a Hungarian plumber or similar, it won’t be anyone ranked...

AJ will have to vacate one of the belts soon enough...I reckon they’ll pick up that strap when the time comes...

I don't think signing with Warren necessarily means he doesn't want to fight Joshua. He's signed a "multi-fight" deal with Warren. That could be a 4 or 5 fight deal. He could fight 4 or 5 bums with Warren then he's a free agent. Then anything can happen next. Not saying he then goes and signs with Matchroom, but there would be nothing stopping him fighting on Sky just for the Joshua fight.

    Ebernezer Tetteh.

Ranked 15th by WBO, primarily a cruiserweight who is the current WBO African heavyweight champ. 16-0 13 kos against mainly fighters with losing records. Never boxed out of Ghana.

I'd like to see him fight David Price, but Frank won't let him anywhere near a puncher for at least a year.

They haven’t helped themselves with the promotion with this unless they are planning to bring in a fairly decent opponent.

‘The real heavyweight champion returns to take back what’s rightfully his’

And then they announce Fury vs some eurobum

I'd like to see Fury back because he's the best heavyweight Britain has produced, I don't like to see wasted talent.

I don't mind if he fights a couple of no hopers. That's a sensible route to take back, knowing how long he's been out and how unfit he has been.

I think Antonio Tarver was mentioned, not Jermain Taylor.
Yeah, I wouldn't want to see him fed old names like Tarver or Briggs.
Briggs especially would be a cynical novelty sideshow and they'd try to sell that as an extravaganza.
I'd rather see him fight bums like Eric Molina, Charles Martin or Lucas Browne.
Manuel Charr is a possible too.

Been waiting ages for Fury to come back. No idea who he's might end up fighting but I think pople are being a bit harsh expecting him to jump into a twelve round fight against a properly ranked opponent. Not just harsh but you're in dream land. He's got to be given a pass his comeback fight at the very least. Nearly three years out of the ring by the time he fights again, you're not telling me a warm up to blow the cobwebs away can't be forgiven?
What's bothering me the most is him signing with Warren. For me that puts the blockers on the AJ fight, I just don't see how it works at all. I obviously don't know the logistics of making a PPV event but the only way I see it happening is cross platform and any profit that would go to the TV company just gets split down the middle between sky and BT, just don;t see it working. Even a Whyte fight is off the cards.

I'm also worrying that AJ will come unstuck with mandatory obligations and have to drop a belt. Frank Warren has always had a big sway with the WBO. I can see him somehow guiding Fury to the WBO title and then keep him defending it in stiff city.

It doesn't look bode well IMO. Think Fury should possibly have kept himself a free agent. He could have just done what suited him then and flitted between the TV channels as he pleased.

It's either him or Joshua, and based on how they fared against Wladimir Klitschko, I'd say Fury's the better boxer.

Britain simply hasn't produced many good heavyweights.

If they're trying to argue Fury is the lineal champ they can't match him with a TTG. It has to be some sort of name surely
