    Christian Hammer...?

Ranked #10 in the WBO, Fury has already beat him on a FW show. Fought in the UK. Beaten David Price.
Will give Fury the chance to look good and get a few rounds in.

Guys, this is doing the rounds on FB and I've just re watched the presser myself to verify.... at the beginning of the press conference Frank says 'I'm delighted to announce that Tyson will be fighting Johnson on June 9th' and Tyson immediately looks across at Frank.

    Kevin Johnson

    Britain didn't produce Lennox Lewis.
He came up through the Canadian amateur ranks, represented Canada for several years, represented Canada in two Olympics.
He stated boxing as a teenager in North America. I doubt he stepped foot in a British gym until he relocated here on a lucrative professional contract.

Pretty sure it will be Manuel Charr. Fake confrontation, he's a Wba intermin champion or whatever, moderately easy opponent. Easy chance to get a high ranking with the wba.

That’s not a bad shout. As far as I remember the fight is now a “No Contest” because of the UKAD ban. Think Fury had to forfeit his purse too.

Very insightful idea into Fury's proposed level of opponent from 34m 30s

Was thinking mainly of a low risk fight that Warren can sensationalise and sell to the public. Plus we know Warrens in with the WBO.

Underfeated fighter with a 80% knockout ratio. Currently in the world top 15 (WBO) and the current heavyweight champ of the whole of the continent of Africa.

We know he’d have no chance against Fury, but that’s how I’d sell it to the public, make him out to be a legit threat.

I think the June 9 opponent will be a complete can.
a "John Emmen" type (Frank Bruno faced him in 1991 after a 3 year retirement, for those too young to remember)

I just hope he doesn't fight Briggs or Tarver after that. I'd rather see him against C-level active boxers than 50 year olds looking for another final payday.

Dont see the appeal for Hammer. He absolutely destroyed him in the first fight. I'm sure Hammer's team would like the payday but it's obviously pointless. For those wondering, the result of the first fight will not be changed to a NC and the original result stands. Good luck to Hammers team and the BBBoC getting any prize money back of Fury.

Fury should fight an easy fight to get the ring rust off, that is the idea. He needs to do that, he really should fight 4 times this year if possible, or at least 3, that should get the rust off, get his distance and timing back, then he can beat Joshua and Wilder.............
