I didn't think it was desperate at all. AJ was all bum chummy with Usyk before they had the fight and he paid for it. Fury's isn't ****ing about, he's coming to hurt Usyk and Usyk probably sensed in then. For me, I think Usyk looked nervous.
Agreed, this isn't ****ing tennis - they are about to punch each other in the face. Of course it needs hyping.
Usyk makes what he wants with this Fury but the two will never face. Usyk wouldnt get all those uppercuts in the face like Santa Claus Chisora. He would outboxe the clown. However Fury will be out of the games for 6 or 7 months Usyk instead has to defend 3 belts and he will face top fighters ('cause is not a coward) with eventual rematches. The undisputed wil never happen.
Fury is a showman like a pro wrestler. He’s trying to create interest and sell a future fight with Usyk. Usyk is smarter than anyone Fury has faced. The size difference makes it interesting because Fury is a lot bigger than Usyk, which is a huge advantage. Equal size, there would be no reason to fight because Usyk would crush Fury. With the size advantage, Fury has a shot and might even win. It’s a hard fight for Usyk but he’s a smart fighter and very skilled. I look forward to seeing these two fight.
As a fan of both men, I found it a bit cringeworthy, especially since Usyk doesn't speak English. I enjoys Fury's trash talking and commentary in general ( EXCEPT WHEN HE SINGS ! ), but his tirade last night was not his best moment. BTW, I believe that Usyk won that exchange...without saying a word.
What I would've liked to have seen Usyk do, was hoping he would do, and what he should of done is opted for the spit-slap response. Don't say a word just look at your adversary dead in the eye and then spit in their face and then immediately after doing so you slap them right across the chops. Make sure you do both in quick succession and that the slap is a really hefty one because it has double shock value as they're still in the processing you spitting in their face stage when the slap lands.
He should have spit in Fury's face then slapped Joyce for daring to steal his thunder before rolling backwards from their telegraphed swings Dark Souls style and sprinting up the arena aisle.
N I don't like it when they do it but whatever its people's preference... Everything else about him atm is just annoying as **** to me though.. I don't even find him fun . And entertaining anymore
How predictable. So for at least the last 12 months Fury has been constantly calling Usyk: 1) P***y 2) B***h 3) Shithouse 4) Dosser 5) Midget 6) Foreigner whom nobody cares about 7) Foreigner whom nobody knows 8) Middleweight 9) Coward And that, I presume, was alright and fun and brilliant and entertaining and all that jazz for you. Then Usyk jokingly (watch the video, he was laughing like he was teasing a mate of his) uses a Spanish word that is not even actually offensive or vulgar and you go “oh, but that’s distasteful”. Let me guess, it’s poor Tyson’s mental state again, and his struggles in life. Listening to Fury apologists makes one feel like Fury is the only human being in history who had struggles in life. It’s always about his mental state, his life, his feelings. It’s not like Usyk’s home country is at war at the moment or anything. And Fury is always happy to talk shite about others, but oh no, it can’t be the other way around because of his men’al helf. The Fury fans are really something else. Hypocrisy of the highest order.
