No, because of your own words about his character.

I'd back my testicle on Bud
He gets hit much less and is a better finisher

I'm not hating on usyk, but I don't think he is as good as bud or Inoue

AJ will always have a punchers chance. The man can hit hard. But I feel he'll always be vulnerable to more skilled boxers.

You're right that Fury would need to be in top shape. His problem is he runs hot/cold too erratically.

I wouldn't rule him out just yet. Losing to Usyk doesn't change his ability to beat less skilled opponents.

We are talking about him, as a boxer and he is great. Could a hater said that ?

I just don't like when fanboys getting overboard with top 5 of all time BS.

Usyk vs Fury was a easily disputable split decision. Fury fought to a draw with Wilder
and came back to KO him twice and end Wilders effectiveness as a boxer.
Congrats Usyk but that was the best he can do.

I'd better bet my left nut on Usyk then :lol::lol:

Buds skilled for sure - but it's easier to finish guys your own size and smaller than to finish guys who are bigger than you... Likewise getting hit less when you're not disadvantaged in height and reach.

These guys are all excellent, but apples to oranges comparison is all we really have - on that dodgy foundation, I think Usyk is equivalent, but we both (I think) will admit there are factors that make comparison difficult.

But why should you worry about how other people rank him?

Why bother about someone you'll never meet thinking he's the greatest boxer of all time?

You don't like the man on a personal level, but you shouldn't worry about how others rate him.

I think he's the greatest boxer to ever lace up gloves, you think he's a coward, just agree to disagree man.

Because it's bad for boxing. why ? by making him best ever you disrespecting other HW's of the past, who has done much more, and don't get the hype. It's just not fair.

It's bad for boxing that someone loves one guy more than sport itself.

It's not only about him, it's also about any other boxer, whos fanboys want his favorite boxer to be above the sport.

Like Canelo fanboys, who said that he can do whatever he wants. (which is BS)

But it's not about fanboys is it.

Today it's Usyk, yesterday it was Ali, the day before it was Louis, the day before that it was Dempsey, before that Johnson, before that Jeffries, before that Sullivan.

Boxers get supplanted when someone else comes along.

Today it's Usyk, tomorrow it will be someone else.

If someone is a fanboi of all those named, as well as the chronology of goats in every single division, then they aren't a fanboi of boxers but a fanboi of boxing.

    Be rational

    Really?

Even the most biased Fury fan on this board doesn't think it's in dispute.

If anything, the official cards flattered Fury quite a bit.

Fury clearly won only 2 rounds, with another 3-4 close in different ways... You'd have to give every close round to Fury to get to a draw, and that'd be very generous.

There's big differences between Fury in Wilder-1 and Fury in Usyk-1.
For starters Fury could (and did) massively improve his performance for Wilder-2 just by getting in shape and blowing off more of the rust... But for Usyk he was in the best shape he could've achieved and not really rusty either - he's not going to be able to raise his game by anything like the same amount (and it's entirely possible he can't even match his fitness and performance from the first fight in the second).

I might hop on trt soon aged 40, testicles not required lol

Usyk is brilliant, but he gets hit very often. I know he hits his opponents more, but he isn't hard to tag

That's why I can't put him with Floyd, Leonard, etc because imo p4p they would catch him often and deal with his pace
Usyk in many ways is like Pacquiao. The speed, movement, punches in bunches, southpaw style, but he lacks the aggressiveness of prime pac however his iq is very high

    I will finish with this
I do rate him very high, but I do think there are a number of fighters better p4p - h2h

I know you will disagree, but I have been rewatching many of his fights these past few days and I'm convinced he's below the the super elite and benefits with the current crop

    Anyway, have a good one!

The only thing disputable was how someone gave Fury enough rounds to win. I gave him 4 rounds and an even round and that was being pretty generous.

It’s nice to see all the Fury fanboys coping hard. All the usual names are here, senpai, miniq, MarkusFlorez99, iceferg, snake33, Kiwi Casual et al. Lovely little group therapy session. Stay pressed, boys, keep watching that 9th round back because it will be more of the same come December.
