I hope he’s back to form. Win or lose heavyweight boxing needs a story.

My guess is we saw his best vs Wlad and he won’t be that good ever again.

But 80 percent of what he was is good enough vs. a very weak division.

Joshua stands alone at the top.

Fury against wlad was supreme, but we didnt see half of what he has in the locker, he boxed smart, he offset wlad all night, flicked the jab out well, used his size to push down wlad, a complete defensive display. when fury lets his hands go he is very dangerous, with crisp combo's and very heavy body blows. he will probably have to go into his offensive locker against joshua.

 

Ability wise Fury is levels above Joshua and Wilder.

 

What about Lennox, he retired without ever losing his titles in the ring, just like Fury, so surely Fury can’t be the real king.

 

I am not excited about Tyson's return. He has hot and cold motivation, and i wish he was motivated because his style and size show me he could beat both Joshua and Wilder. He was the first one to beat Vlad in a long time and he is a very good fighter. But he has motivation issues and he doesn't seem to want to be a fighter in a full time sense, which he will have to do to beat such top fighters. With Tyson Fury it is about motivation. I hope he keeps it, because then he can be someone great.

 

I have seen this before. They don't love to box but they love the spotlight and fame, which I get that. I might be the same. The problem is you cannot depend on the fighters to have great performances everytime like a guy who loves the sport and knows all aspects of it.. He will maybe beat Wilder or Joshua and then take off another year or two. Yet you see Joshua or Wilder, you know they would be more inclined to be motivated. It is just what motivates people.

perhaps. But thats the worst stance you could ever adopt on a forum, comparing a pro athlete to a random member of the public in terms of fitness....so I will happily let such a terrible post go unanswered.

That’s a complete and utter lie. I know (using the term loosely) AJ and have been with him a lot of times and as you can imagine this stuff has been discussed. He doesn’t great fighting any of them, he does however concede one will be tough.

 

Joshuas the only one unifiying, wierd how hes getting slated for not fighting anyone. lets see -

wilder - defended against noone
fury - defended against noone...literally
povekin - not won a title and hes 38, why is he being mentioned for making title defences is stupendous.
