So here's what I want to know. Did Fury ACTUALLY train at all for this fight? I have seen no news, coverage or otherwisw of him training for this match. Is he really thinking he roll into Vegas with no training and steamroll Wilder again? Plausible, but a bit strange
Oh, and The Worm Dustin N just fight this year. Went totally under the radar somehow. No idea how he got out of prison
I sure hope so because what makes Fury good is his intensity. If he comes in flat Wilder is going to knock him on his ass and finish him.
Agreed. It's just we typically would see some pictures or training videos, comments etc. I'm so confused that he hasn't trained. Is his excuse lose the fight then say , well I didn't train?
Fury trains everyday The only thing that changes for Fury when he is in camp is his diet and he trades a little fat for muscle. Out of camp Fury loses muscle mass. He is a natural big man built for stamina. The only concern for Fury post comeback is overtraining. 270 pounds is what you want to see on the scales. He caught covid in 2020 & 2021, as with the typical flu that puts you back a few weeks. He had to reset his last camp not only because of covid but he peaked too early whilst training in 50 Celsius Vegas. Bad timing.
If he's expecting a pure repeat of the second fight he should be in for a bad time. Assuming team Wilder is even marginally competent, they will have prepared for that Fury and Fury won't have that element of surprise and discomfort that he had in the second. Still, Fury often says stupid things like this, call it 'mind games' or call it 'being bipolar' - but he's always been well prepared in the ring and, despite his appearance and years of abuse, always seems in decent shape therein.
