I think everyone can agree on the 2014 class though who do you see for 2015 and beyond? Also what guys should already be in that have been snubbed?
Who is retired and has been snubbed so far and who you predict will get in on future dates as a first rounder. For example this year since they only pick 3 guys I feel will be Joe Calzaghe Oscar de la Hoya Felix Trinidad
http://ringtv.craveonline.com/blog/175141-a-look-ahead-to-future-hall-of-fame-ballots?start=3 Oscar, Felix, Calzaghe obviously deserve it. NONE of the others deserve HOF. Arguably Julio Cesar Vasquez, and definitely Hector Camacho. Tapia - no. Barrera - yes. Margarito - no, Mosley - yes, Winky Wright - no. Then they gave these names: Bernard Hopkins, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Manny Pacquiao, Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez, Miguel Cotto, Sergio Martinez, Chris John, Vic Darchinyan, Ivan Calderon, Pongsaklek Wonjongkam, Wladimir Klitschko Miguel Cotto - no Vic Darchinyan - no Chris John - no - out of that list.
Hard to say, it's been watered down quite a bit. With guys like Mcguigan, Gatti, M. Johnson in there...no telling who'll get the nod.
I have a higher standard on what a Hall of Famer should be an am outraged with the induction of people like Tszyu, Canizales, Graham, Mark Johnson, Jeff Chandler, McGuigan, Johannsenn, Virgill Hill and probably more. Winky Wright was very good, but certainly not great. His fanbase are annoying as **** and overrate him when the truth is, he never fared well with the elite in his division, and beat Mosley because Mosley roided it up to 154 and Winky was a big LMW. Except, post-Oscar fight, Mosley could no longer use steroids, so he was in no mans land so early in his career at 154.
well thankfully, the decision isnt made by you. they were both elite and fighting at the top level, they'll get in
Surely Eubank and Benn should have been in the Hall of Fame before Calzaghe. They were the guys who made Middleweight and Super Middleweight boxing mainstream in the UK, we're both two weight world champions and have been retired a lot longer than him, and, you know, they're no less deserving of a place than someone like Danny Lopez. Certainly, I wouldn't argue against Calzaghe's induction but it just seems a bit strange that neither Benn or Eubank have been considered yet.
Well, I named three already in Gatti, McGuigan, and Johnson. Terry Norris and Mitchell are a couple more.
