He's a great guy, one of the nicest guys in the game, fought a veritable who's who, but it was his time. He'll probably have a long career behind the scenes, most likely take over from Hunter when he decides to call it a day, or possibly do commentary for PBC. The whole thing was sad, almost like a movie, the story with Hunter and Lamont has always touched me, and seeing Hunter throw the towel in s Lamont went down in a heap, was oddly poignant. He's a good dude and I wish him nothing but good in the future, whatever he chooses to do.
No way is LP getting in the HOF. I mean that without disrespecting him too.. But he's not HOF worthy... Tim Bradley maybe but Peterson? No..
the only way he goes hof is by continuing work in the boxing world and doing something noteworthy. I'd like to give him a chance to given he comes from homeless....but PEDs means I wouldnt.
LOLZ. He did well for himself. Hope he got that testosterone related medical issue sorted in the end.
I enjoyed watching his matches. Never in a boring match. The man has nice skills especially when he goes to body and brings it back upstairs, took his defeats well never made excuses after.
LOL, hall of fame? He literally lost every single fight that he stepped up in. Unless you count Khan, which was a hometown robbery as he was juiced up on PED's HOF, ha!
He is a class act, always gave it an effort, I thought he beat Garcia, he could of potentially have been a two weight champion.
