Future HOF Referee Kenny Bayless retires at 73 years of age

Patiently waiting for a Youtube of his funniest moments.

 

Man, I remember when Bayless disqualified Terry Norris for knocking out Luis Santana after the third round bell in their second bout. While I thought it was quite obvious that Norris didn't realize the bell had rung, Bayless did what he had to do.

I can't believe that was more than a quarter of a century ago.

 

Very good ref.

 

Enjoy retirement a true credit to the sport.

Good riddance. A corrupt ref that switched up his ref stye to suit whatever fighter bribed him that night.

 

A great referee his protection job of Wilder was an ATG performance.

He was a good ref. Bit too involved but no shenanigans like w Laurence Cole or Tony Weekes.

Actually, thinking of it now, I'll take Bayless 10 times out of 10. Very consistent and by the book. Could improve by letting them fight a bit more but good ref and def HOF for me

 

It was as clear as day in the 2nd Fury/Wilder fight.

He should have been re-named Kenny Bent-less
