Which of these prospects in your opinion are gona rise or fall? We have Saul Alvarez Chavez Jr. Omar Henry Jose Benavidez Alfredo Angulo Yuriorkis Gamboa Juanma Lopez Marcos Maidana Victor Ortiz Here and there I see some posters bash on theese young prospects is there anyone who has faith in any of these? Any additions?
Gamboa and Lopez looks like they have the potential to become big stars in the future. Ortiz and Maidana could become big stars too. Chavez jr has the potential but he needs to fight someone who could challenge him. I really want to see a fight with cotto or angulo next.
Saul Alvarez..............rise Chavez Jr.............rise Omar Henry............fall Jose Benavidez.............rise Alfredo Angulo............always be competitive but never best Yuriorkis Gamboa............don't know Juanma Lopez.............don't know Marcos Maidana.............always be competitive but never best Victor Ortiz.............rise
Saul Alvarez - fall Chavez Jr. - fall Omar Henry - fall Jose Benavidez - rise Alfredo Angulo - fall Yuriorkis Gamboa -rise Juanma Lopez - rise Marcos Maidana - fall Victor Ortiz -rise
Gamboa and Lopez are not prospects anymore. Rule of thumb, when a fighter wins or fights for a World title they cannot be considered prospects .
Good that someone else mentions him. I think he whoops benavidez again like he did in the amateurs, and Khan won't ever want it with him.
Personally i dont think he will fail but i could see how someone could think that. Hes got some major gaps in his game and hopefully him getting rattled by the lesser cotto was just one of those things.... but i could see plenty in the cotto fight that would lead people to think that if he doesnt improve, that he might not make it as far as people hope. I think he will though, hes very young, and has plenty of time to learn, get better, ect.... as long as his chin holds up i think he will be fine. Will be interesting to see how far he goes.
As far as stars..Alvarez has the look and fan base. Gamboa has the talent and the fan friendly style. Angulo has the power and charisma.
Well -- my guy hasn't turned pro yet, but remember this name: Gunnar "The Big Gun" Austin. He is a 16 year old heavyweight that knocks guys out with body shots:deal
