Direll,Ward and Jacobs got good skills , now the question his if they can step-up to the top 5 in 2009. I doubt any of them can get a title this year , maybe against Froch but his got 2 mandatory so it wont happens! But the 3 of them are to watch because one of them will get a belt in the next 5 years for sure , at least if we don't see an unified champion.
yeah, i'm happy that no one did help Hilton with publicity with his return.. but anyway, back to the thread, Kessler is enough young to put an end to their dream of becoming the king of SM
Probably one of the most exciting division , with all the prospects and Pavlik , Abraham talking to move in weight!
Daniel Jacobs, to me, is the most promising of the three boxers but he's got to be put in against decent opposition by Golden Boy. Most definitively at the top of the 168 pounds in two and a half years.
I haven't seen much of any of them. I didn't see what all the fuss was about when Dirrell fought Oganov, i get the feeling he will run like the wind against a quality puncher or pressure fighter and get caught on the ropes often. Haven't seen Ward. Jacobs looks alright but i don't think he will be doing anything special in the near future.
