FRANK ****** has formed a new promotional venture with his sons George and Francis' company Queensbury Promotions, and investment tycoon, Bill Ives.

"It's great for British fighters and British boxing to have Bill Ives involved," said ******. "I'm excited about this new venture. This is the A-Team of boxing and we're going to be the best, and deliver the best."

"It's been very tough over the last two years, the toughest I can remember, but we've got through that and now we are building for the future."

Ives, head of Rainham Steel and a former amateur boxer, will provide the financial clout.

"I have been an ardent follower of boxing throughout my life," he said. "I look forward to working with Frank and his sons to bring the most talented boxers of today to the living rooms of millions of boxing fans everywhere."

BoxNation, approaching its second birthday, will continue to be the television platform for ******'s latest venture. The station is hoping to launch an HD channel this year.

"BoxNation has grown well so far," said Richard Brooke, chairman of BoxNation. "We now feel it's time to kick on and we're dedicated to this channel. We need a strong promotions business to feed us the fights and this is what Queensbury will do. We can make this really something."

Previously announced partnerships with promoters Frank Maloney, Ricky Hatton, and Barry McGuigan are with BoxNation - as opposed to ****** - and will not be affected by this latest development.

W Promotions, ******'s previous promotional platform, is closed after going into administration last week.
