Doubt we'd of got that fight anyway, should have happened last year. If Frank was involved he would have made it happen like he did with Groves-Degale.

Frank is the best guy to be with if you want to get to world title level so Quigg going to him would be a great partnership for both.

So look's like it's going to be Quigg who lives very close to me. I've followed his career from the start and always knew he was world class, gonna try and have a word with him tomorrow. I think Hatton has done a great job with him though so it would be a shame if he left Hatton but Sky screwed over Ricky in a disgusting manner even though he put on some good shows for them.

Looking at the interview, Frank did have a certain mischievous twinkle in his eye so no doubt he's got a couple of great boxers signed up and ready to be made World Champions.

It could be Quigg, he'd be in a slightly better position than he is in now but obviously if he did move it should be to Matchroom (provided they offer decent money) as they can make the Frampton fight.

First thought was Joshua; Boxnation needs big names/interesting fights to prop up the channel, no coincidence they have Haye and Khan (UKs two biggest names). I'd even suggest that Joshua is maybe just as big a 'name' as Carl Froch. Maybe Frank has dug deep to offer him a big deal. Yeah he got his hands burnt with the Beijing Olympians but if he only signs one then maybe its worthwhile.

No chance its Haroon Khan IMO, he's going to stay with Amir for sure.

Eubank Jr fits the big name/interesting criteria so possibly... How are the relations between Frank and Eubank Snr?

Kid Galahad? Would he be a big signing? Maybe...

EDIT: He was hardly emphatic when he said "two big signings" was he? Probably looking at Joe Murray type fighters then.

I think Frank's big signings are now a lot lower in level then they used to be. I don't see a major signing but two good fighters who will be of interest.

Quigg's been at a FWP show which made me wonder.

Nobody from team GB will sign for Frank. They know better. Same as Quigg. Galahad is also so close to Brook, he knows better.

Eubank possibly as I beleive his deal with He nesey includes a TV deal provision. But Eubank Snr hates Frank.

I can see Quigg going on a provisional deal with him just to get fighting again. Gallagher mentioned recently they have started camp but have no fight announced and would be pissed if they put effort of a full camp in for no reward. Maybe they do a 2 or 3 fight deal with Frank to get boxing on live TV again. The other one won't be a big name I don't think.

  9. I think quigg is a sure thing,to be fair Frank has great history with pushing for world titles

I think Anthony joshua is no chance

Other possibles are vassell and eubank jnr

There's a reason for that right now though and that is that Hearn has tied Sky to Matchroom exclusively. Hearn's a good promoter but as far as British boxing is concerned this model won't work and won't last. The ideal model is all the promoters working with one network; the polar opposite of that is the one major sports network in a broadcasting region working exclusively with only one promoter.

He has always been superb at getting fighters to world level, and then has been a shrewd businessman. The events of recent times mean even he should've realised he has to change his MO though; this isn't the marketplace of old. The likes of Cleverly and Walsh and are owed big time.

As for Quigg, I rate him but he and his trainer both know what is going to happen if he steps in with Frampton. So going down a route that ends the Frampton-Quigg speculation at domestic level for the time being where the pay isn't so great for a beating is a sensible choice.

Beeston (i think) got warned from a certain promoters solicitors actually for posting on here and yes you can be in trouble for releasing information, especially if there is a confidentiality clause in the details of negotiations.

Either way, its annoying when people dont release the names, but you getting in a hissy fit wont stop it lol

    Quigg and Joshua possibly
