Wrong. Frank has been focusing on being a broadcaster lately so has taken his eye off the ball when it's comes to putting on shows but as 30 years of putting on the biggest and best boxing shows in Great Britain shows he's still the NUMBER 1 boxing promoter out there when he is focused plus there is no boxing promoter out there who knows how to match his fighters and make them not only World Champions but millionaires as well. He was going through financial problems due to the massive amounts of money that had been put into the running of BOXNATION. Some of you knobheads on here got your knickers in a twist just because he had a financial loss on paper but due to a new financial input into his company he'll be putting on alot more Boxing shows the second half of 2013.
He's great at making them World Titlists, Champions however, not so much so. Again with making them millionaires, it's great for fighters, or used to be, but not so good recently for the fans. Also it was very stupid of him if he has taken his eye off the promoting side of things as thats the product he's pushing on Boxnation. For such an astute businesman he's really dropped a bollock if thats the case.
Hadn't Ricky Burns has 7 world title fights but had only made 750k?? He had a financial loss every year for 5 years. Do you genuinely beleive every word that comes out of this guys mouth?
It's not to do with being right or wrong, he has put on some great shows in the past, it's a matter of opinion and IMO a big signing or 2 big signings means already recognised fighters...again IMO If I was a recognised fighter the last promoter I'd want to join with would be rabbit hole... I'll look out for the 2nd half of the year and I may subscribe, he hasnt got many decent fighters that im interested in though. :good
