5-Kanemoto doing enough to be competitive but not enough to excite anyone....Nagahama doing enough to make me think I should go grab some food during round 6

 

6-I have no idea what happened, I decided to have human interaction, grab food, grab a drink, and watch paint dry.

 

Turns out that whilst I was being a smarmy **** Nagahama actually threw some punches and hurt Kanemoto in the final 30 seconds, but lacked the skills and intensity to close the show, Kanemoto has some pretty clear swelling around his left eye

Next up, mah man Ikuro Sadatsune (9-2-3, 3) Vs Kenshin Oshima (4-1-1, 3)

 

1-Sadatsune's hair is flailing, good body shot from Sadatsune, Oshima doesn't seem to know what to make of Sadatsune, both land at the same time with a head shot, good short left from Sadatsune, and another, Oshima trying to get his jab into play but Sadatsune is a tricky guy too land them on with any regularity,a good short right from Oshima, and a body shot from Sadatsune, a good left from Sadatsune, a good right-left from Oshima. Oshima probably sneaked it one quality...just...

 

2-Sadatsune coming forward early on, Oshima launches an attack from way too far out, a good right from Oshima, Sadatsune applyuing pressure and lands a good left, Oshima being very patient, Sadatsune looking for long left hands to the body, a good right from Oshima forced Sadatsune to hold for a moment, a left from Sadatsune, a stiff right from Oshima, a body shot from Sadatsune and Oshima repays with a right up top, Oshima landing rights with regularity through this round but only single shots, a good body shot from Sadatsune, a good right from Oshima.

Sadatsune's hair goes wild whenever he's tagged magnifying shots when he's tagged lol

 

3-Oshima looking more relaxed and lands another good right early in the round, a body shot comes back from Sadatsune, both land straights, huge left from Sadatsune! And Oshima holds, his best shot for a while! Meaty right from Oshima, a huge left in return from Sadatsune, Sadatsune winds up a left, playing to the fans now, body shot Sadatsune, Oshim a wobbles Sadatsune as they big to brawl at the end of the round....Not sure why Sadatsune held his feet, seemed like he had the round won then threw it away...silly

Worth noting Oshima's work rate against Jo Tanooka dropped off after 4 rounds, Sadatsune looks to be wanting to force Oshima to fight as a higher than he'd want

 

4-Sadatsune has recovered from being rocked at the end of round 3 and he's back to employing awkward pressure, Oshima looking to load up right hands, uppercut from Oshima, body shot from Sadatsune, body shot again from Sadatsune, Oshima's work rate has vanished here,body shot again from Sadatsune, jab from Sadatsune, and another, very little coming back from Oshima, a good jab from Sadatsune

 

5-Sadatsune again bringing the pressure, Oshima's work rate poor, good body shots from Sadatsune, a hook from Oshima, another Sadatsune body shot, a jab lands clean from Oshima but he takes another body shot, and another, and another, a right from Oshima but nothing on it, another Sadatsune body shot, and another, a right from Oshima but there is no snap on his work at all, Sadatsune with another body shot, a short left up top from Sadatsune and yet another body shot

 

6-Sadatsune again on the front foot with lots of movement, Oshima with a cracking uppercut and Sadatsune is hurt, he hols and gets clouted around the back of the head, the pace has heated up, Oshima throwing everything at Sadatsune who evades major punishment nad fires back, Sadatsune lands low and is told to keep them up - tactical low blow?, 2 good rights from Oshima land clean, and another, and another, and one more for good measure. A fantastic bounce back round by Oshima - though he is now bleeding from the nose

 

7-Sadatsune seems to have recovered and is pressing forward to begin the round, Oshima forcing a brawl and Sadatsune responding with punches back - but Oshima got the better of it, Sadatsune getting off a big left, big body shots from Sadatsune, Oshima looked like he was hurt by one, Oshima sending out "stay away" jabs, think he's still hurt from that body shot, head shot from Sadatsune, Oshima still backing off, a hard left from Sadatsune and Oshima's legs buckled, another one, Oshima looks like he's on fumes at the moment, blood running from Oshima's nose, Sadatsune with another left, and another, he's smilling sticking his tongue out and lands another left, he's goading Oshima and banging him with another left

 

8-Sadatsune again on the front foot, Oshima firing at him, body shot from Sadatsune, Oshima's nose is a mess, 2 minutes left, Sadatsune applies more pressure, Oshima trying to stay away, body shot from Sadatsune, a right up top from Oshima, a left up top from Sadatsune, another left rocks Oshima, Oshima swings wildly and Sadatsune tags him, they trade, both look exhausted, big body shot from Sadatsune. Great fight

Oshima gets the UD 77-76, 77-75, 77-75....he's perhaps a touch...fortunate...

 

That was impressive from Oshima. There were a few moments where he was really tested and he came through them very nicely. Good bout
