April twenty-second, on the Gervonta Brown Davis vs. Ryan García Quesada undercard on PPV.

Since his upset kayo victory over Bek the Bully just under two years ago, King Gabe has lost three decisions on the spin - while the Uzbek has gone 4-0 (3). Rosado was in talks for match this spring against Gilberto "Zurdo de Oro" Ramírez Sánchez, but those fell apart last week and the rematch was immediately put in front of him with Gabe snatching a pen to sign his name without hesitation...thinking of both sunk cost from training camp and the chance to prove last time was no fluke and perhaps earn himself one final main event opportunity.

Rosado's stunning knockout of Melikuziev earned Rosado some solid paydays while slowing down the Bully train. That won't happen again. Melikuziev fought their first fight with reckless abandon. He threw caution to the wind and when he put Gabe down in round one it only served to heighten his carelessness. This time the Uzbekistan native will be just a bit more cautious and that's all he will need. Rosado has remained standing against much better than Melikuziev but he will not see the final bell this time. Melikuziev in three or four rounds.

Rooting for Gabe, but if I were to place a bet it would be on the bully.

An immediate rematch I wouldn't have been so sure of but I'm fairly confident now that Bek takes this one.

Got a hell of a lot of respect for Gabe but he has taken to many beatings and needs to give it away.

He actually speaks quite well and has some decent insights. Hate to see him lose that ability because he hung around to long.

Had they rematched immediately, I would have picked Gabe by UD.
But he is just too old at this point. It´s evident that his reflexes are gone.

Wait so if Bek smashes him, does Gabe then get put right back in the meat grinder for a rubber match? :ohno

I think yes, because he certainly won't say no and this business is soulless.

I gave you a like for this because I like that you said it. I just hate that what you said is the truth.

I like Gabe. He seems like a decent smart guy in interviews but damn he's had some hard fights.
Let's hope he doesn't get hurt. Props to the Bully for getting in the ring with a guy that knocked you into Bolivian last time.
