So what correlation does that have with him not getting a credential? Is he hinting the people behind credential assigning are on PEDS?

    are you a ******?

they dont like he line of writing or his questioning.

He may be a wanker, an 'attention seeking *****', but it doesnt mean that he isnt entitled to a profession. This is the same guy that broke the berto and peterson stories.

Montoya is a ****, if any of you guys listen to Leave it in the ring boxing radio show, he was very disrespectful to Peter Quillin and even implied Quillin was ducking Ishe Smith.

That's bollocks, GBP are basically saying they will only give credentials to people who are gonna kiss their arse.

Sometimes boxing is ****ing pathetic. Its crazy how De La Hoya can be a promoter yet own a boxing publication as well.

GDP would have been better playing along and letting him go, if he shows any real bias towards the company then fair enough but all he has done is his job.

Top Rank isn't the promoter who have been accusing other fighters of being on PEDs. GBP made a big stand over and is now acting very strangely. Montoya has never accused anyone at GBP or the commissions of deliberately doping. He's simply asking why GBP is so evasive.

He's a journalist who was asking questions and GBP set their lawyers on him and got him fired from a job at the Scene.

And all journalists look to make a name for themselves. Same as most people do at work.

    No, are you?

Well no **** they don't, but do we really give a **** if another writer can't get into a fight? He wasn't exactly going to do some ground breaking stories as soon as he comes out of the fight now, was he?

And seriously, people break stories every day. Just because you have a good relationship with the people involved in VADA and find out before everyone else does, does not mean you should ****ing brag about it like some absolute twat - he rode that **** as if it was the find of the century. Even recently, a story that was supposedly meant to change boxing was just Nonito Donaire agreeing to all year round testing. Good on him for what he does, but he does not acquire attention on stupid things like him not getting a damn credential.

Tbf, it's bad enough I even bothered to post in the thread.

    No, im not.

I find it strange that you think its perfectly acceptable for Golden Boy to only give journalists who write nice stories about them or dont ask any questions they dont like, access to their fights.

Montoya isnt the issue here (besides isnt getting close to sources what a good journalist does?), its the principle of what they are doing.

You do also recognise the fact that as a professional looking to make money , working off a website economically driven by the traffic it gets, it isnt that surprising that he played it up and wanted as many people to see it as possible. So its understandable that he may, as you put it, "****ing brag about it like some absolute twat".

I have sources all over the place, not just VADA.

    http://www.mmafighting.com/strikefo...avalcante-tests-positive-for-banned-substance

Not a fighter tested by VADA or USADA but instead by the CSAC.

I put that notice out there because I want transparency. I'm not looking for awards. I'm not even currently eligible for them from the BWAA since I am currently not a member. What I want is for boxing fans to see what happens to writers who ask questions promoters don't like.

Writers and fans alike ask for change. We ***** about bad decisions and crooked boxing businessmen who taint our sport and rarely give us what we want. Yet when it gets pointed out, suddenly the guy doing it is a terrible person and not really a journalist. Remove your fandom and you will see what I am doing.
