Odds narrowed from 165+ or so to +140 last minute on Rosado. Someone put some coin on him late.

They must have seen the comical size difference at the weigh in!

    Yeah, I was shocked.
In my mind I always saw Clottey as bigger

I cant wait to see the video of this fight online.. from the write up on scene, Clottey opened strong but Rosado had a greatly elevated workrate in the midrounds. Good for him, didn;t think he would change up his style, him and Vargas executed a good fight plan.

I was thinking about it earlier... i mean Clotteys best win to date was against an aging Zab Judah and a blown up Diego Corrales. But hes most meomrable for looking good in losses. but looking good doesnt equal emerging victorious

Its going to be on HBO Latino after the Jennings Ortiz fight, you can watch it on TV later.

As for the size difference, I knew by the size disparity between Soto-Karass and Gabe, that Gabe would be huge in comparison, since JSK is fairly big for a Welter.

People should pay more attention to BKB. Grandos looked good against Karass there and upset Imam, Rosado looked good against Vera and Stevens and upset Clottey. It's combat sport activity and should be factored in to fight breakdowns/predictions

:verysad Clottey is just very past prime that's all. 'aging Zab Judah' does zero justice to the ability of Zab at that stage of his career. It was in 2008 and was a very good win.

Clottey also beat prime Cotto IMO. It was a razor close fight, but a lot of poeple genuinely felt Clottey deserved at least a draw.
He was also whooping Baldomir before he got disqualified.

He's the most underrated boxer in recent times.

No Clottey looked the same as he always did, Gabe was just too big for him and outworked him in every round.

Clottey just isn't the same fighter as he was, and yeah, he doesn't have the same strengths he had at welterweight.
As much as I really like Gabe Rosado, I have to admit the truth.

Clottey's biggest weakness is his biggest strength. He is pretty much the bes shot blocker in the game. He feels too comfortable at just sitting at that tight guard. But he does not seem to get that even though the other guy is not landing, if he himself does not land anything substantial, the judges have to give the round to the other guy for aggression.

I have not seen the fight, but I can imagine how the fight went. Either Rosado just out-hustled him, or - with that reach advantage - slided away throwing bombs from afar. It is very hard to counter from that clottey-type-shell against a guy who has a substantial reach advantage.

    You scored it 10-0?

Sorry you just are not credible at all. Many scored it a draw, Clottey was beating him handily for most of it early on, even with the ridiculous size discrepancy and being 38 yrs old.

You predicted Rosado to 'beat him like a child' and deliver a brutal KO

    So did IntentionalButt.:deal

Anyone who scored it a draw is a ****ing idiot just like you. You obviously have yet to see the match Clottey was never even close to in it.
