ATLANTIC CITY - Boxer Gabriel Rosado and 5 others were arrested stemming from an altercation with an off-duty police officer at Bally's Wild West Casino, Saturday morning.

The incident happened at 3:16am when uniformed Officer Franco Syndor was working off duty with Bally's Security in moving a group of 6 disorderly males toward the casino exit. Rosado, who won a boxing match earlier in the evening at Bally's, was among the unruly males being ushered from the casino. Rosado's group, which included off duty Philadelphia Police officer Eliezer Morales, made threatening statements to Officer Syndor, according to Atlantic City Police Sgt. Monica McMenamin.

While in full uniform, Officer Syndor was punched in the mouth by Rosado. Bally's Security came to his aid while another member of the group, Daniel Rosado, grabbed the officer's baton during the fight. Syndor quickly regained the baton and subdued the assailant.

Backup officers arrived and the 6 males including Gabriel Rosado were arrested on a variety of charges consisting of Aggravated Assault on Police, Terroristic Threats and Disarming a Law Enforcement Officer. Eliezer Morales was additionally charged with Inciting a Riot.

Officer Syndor required 5 stitches to his lip and 2 stitches in his elbow for his injuries sustained in the incident. Gabriel Rosado was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained while fighting with Police and released.

Bail for 6 of the suspects has been set for $50,000 for each charge. All were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility in Mays Landing.

Case was dropped recently. and his face did not look like that after the fight, that was caused by the police scrap
