Gabriel Rosado would of gave canelo a hell of a fight

Pretty much every full blown, top 15 mw would give Canelo troubles. Canelo needs to outweigh people to do his ring bullying.

 

I wanted to see this fight really bad even made a thread about it.

 

It would be worth just the press conferences to see what gabe says to him

 

Man, i dont know. Rosado has taken a lot of punishment and he seemed bothered by Clottey´s power.
I need to see him fight someone who will give him a challange again.

No he wouldn't. Khan is a much bigger risk for Canelo than Rosado who would be a routine victory.

 

This would be a great match-up, but Oscar would never approved it. He and BHOP would disagree on this one.

 

Alvarez would have beaten Rosado up but it would have been a fun fight and more competitive than Khan( who I think is a good welterweight but doesn't belong at middleweight)

There's a number of makeable fights Alvarez could have made that would have been more competitive than Khan- Rosado, Monroe, Heiland, Andrade, and others.

I think one of the big problems with the May 7 date is that it was always reserved for ppv and not regular HBO. That meant they needed a bigger named opponent so Khan got the call.

If the fight is on regular HBO Khan isn't the opponent but since it had to be ppv we get Khan.
