I had Galahad edging Warrington in that fight. Either way it was very close and he at least deserves a rematch.

You said it wasn't a robbery - national newspapers said it was.
KG and Dom both said it was a robbery after the fight. If they'd kicked off in the ring you'd only be slating them.
Eddie Hearn said KG won by at least 2 rounds as did countless pro boxers.

Oustside the Leeds fishbowl this is how everyone else saw it ? Professional, public and industry reaction. Even some Leeds fans couldn’t make a case for their fighter

It was a very close fight if kid had got the nod I wudnt b saying warrington got screwed. They way your going on it was a landslide victory for kid. How did u score the fight. I had jw by 2 rounds. But wudnt argue with 2 rounds to kid as alot of rounds were extremely close.

Unless u were there that night then forget trying to stand ur corner claiming who won and who lost.
My recent experiences with watching fights live and watching them on t.v has now shown me that if you weren't there on the night of the fight, reasonably close to the ring then forget trying to hold up any reasonable debate on who the true winners or losers were. That mainly goes for fights that are reasonably close.
I know that as boxing fans that's all we can do, watch at home and give A d3cision on how we think it went but that can be so different a view and experience to what the judges are seeing that the contrast is night and day really.
I know we go on a lot about bent judges, and maybe some are.
but the sport is subjective and seen through your own filters, that makes what one person sees can be different to how another sees it.
I was at that fight and I was ringside. Josh won it, although I agree, it was close.. I've mentioned before how in the first rd (iirc) McIntosh jumped with joy when kid landed a shot and on the t.v it also looked like it landed. I was right in front when kid threw that and Josh pulled away, it missed Josh by a couple of inch, at least.
You would of all scored that to kid but a judge who saw that in front of him could of scored it to Josh (defence) .
I've started to question the sport tbh. It's depressing.

I've got a lot of respect for Howard Foster's integrity and thought he was fair on the night. The 5 and 6 point swing the other way from the other 2 judges was ridiculous.

Galahad landed more punches in 9 of the rounds with one even.

So the 2 judges who scored the fight within a point of each were completely wrong. But cause foster gave it kid u respect him have a day off.

Since Warrington beat your brother you've become his second biggest fan and one judge gave him 4 more rounds than you did!
I met Foster over 20 years ago and he's always been fair IMO. I'll have more than a day off from you;)

Firstly not my brother. And yes I've followed him since. I never questioned fosters score I just pointed out the other 2 judges saw a very similar fight that's why he won a split decision. Had is been the mass robbery u claim the ibf wud have ordered a immediate rematch. Which they didn't. Enjoy your holiday

Says who? That silly punch stat, galahads mate did on his app. Where he counts flicks off kid cos he was afraid to punch, in case it put him in a position not to be able to spoil.
And who cares, cos I certainly don't.
I was there, Josh won, look on boxrec.
There is only one person who cares about this and that is bent nose also known as kid galahad. Real name Abdul Barry Awad.

In the minds of many he did not win, Galahad did. As for boxrec, in that case Zach Parker beat Darryll Williams, Tim Bradley beat Paquaio in the first fight, and it goes on and on. Everyone knows you are Joshs mate. Your bias in this case is obvious.

I prefer Josh as a personality, but Galahad is a better boxer and he won that fight.

Like I said pal earlier in the thread and this goes for any fight, whether it's Josh, galahad or anyone.
If u weren't there and close to the ring then your scoring has little value as to how the fight really went, so yes, them examples maybe were correct, what you gave, unless u were ringside at them fights, or unless it was glaringly obvious that one of the fighters was really out of his depth.
You have a right to an opinion but your ability to score the fight sat at home is really flawed.
We can all talk about fights and score them but you never get the correct picture, only those close to the ring have a valid argument.
This has nothing to do with who's fighting, this is now my view as in the past year I've experienced this on a number of occasions and Only once was Josh involved, so it has nothing to do with any personal bias u claim that I'm projecting.

I don't think thats true at all. Yeah, a fight is going to be viewed differently when ringside vs on TV, but if anything you will have a better view on TV. Seeing the action from more angles, replays etc.

If what you're saying is true, why do all these pro fighters and trainers go ranting and giving their opinions on fights via twitter after watching a fight on TV?. Because that happens anytime boxing is broadcast. I'm sure most pros have seen more live action than most normal fans.

Not sure if there are other polls out there but would be interesting to see. Out of 2500 votes 50% had Galahad winning the fight compared to 37% for Warrington.
