Especially when you consider that the punches that Diaz was landing weren't exaclty bone breaking shots.

True, people forget it's a sport and run on points not ko potential.
Of course if someone is visibly getting hurt by big shots then that should be of importance but if the other guy lands two big shots which are of small concern and one guy lands jabs at will and controls the fight than the man with the jab wins the round.

That's it . . . Van Hoy exposed his incompetence on being a judge.

You score jabs that hit the target . . . strong or weak it's a punch that hit and should be scored.

Ban this STUPID judge from boxing for life!

So true. The man looked at the fight the exact same way I did, except I gave Paulie one more round than him. You do not win a fight by throwing an ineffective jab and running all night.

Who cares what he says? His scorecard told us everything we needed to know.

If he's having doubts in his judging then there's reason to believe that there's something fishy.

I think Paulie had the right to complain about that ... it just doesn't seem fair ... in some of those replays they showed between rounds it sure as hell looked like Juan was geting hit. And the first cut on Juan was from a punch ... 10 rounds to 2? ... that guy is ridiculous ...

Thats going to hurt putting on big shows in houston ... I think its fair to say that those guys do get special treatment from the judges and in the case when they haven't there weren't in the city of Houston or the state of Texas.

I have to say that this seems more like incompentance than corruption. A judge who is paid off is not going to make it look this obvious. If your paid off, then you start giving Paulie rounds later in the fight to make it look better. You're just asking to get caught if you score it this bad.

What a joke Judge. No one should pardon him. He should be fired.
