Victor Galindez v John Conteh, prime for prime, 15 rds 175lbs.

    Who do you like?

Galindez would always be a threat but I see Conteh's superior skills carrying him through to a unanimous decision. If Victor cuts up rough,John could match him. Rugged fight.

up in the air, but I'm thinking Galindez hammers out a decision. Victor was a highly battle tested fighter who arguably encountered a longer list of better opponents.

I think Steve nailed it here, in a rough fight John's greater skills win the decision.

It's essentially a toss-up, but I'd pick Conteh. He was slicker with sharper punches.

Galindez. More rugged, better in big fights.

Really? Had to pull it out of the bag against Kates and Lopez and Mustafa was winning handily before he became lazy.

Conteh beat Lopez with one hand, starched Hutchins much quicker, and arguably deaerved tp beat Parlov in enwmy territory.

Galindez was stopped by Rossman. Two attempts to beat him.

Galindez is well overrated. Bloody superb fighter but the king of making things much harder than they had to be.

Conteh, with two hands, wins handily. With one and depleted punch resistance he likely overcomes a few scares to box the squat Galindez to a standstill.

Saad was the best of the 3 for me.

Saad would have been stopped on cuts if he hadn't been allowed to wear that plastic skin/Monsels solution on his eyebrows during the first fight.Ditto Parlov.

Saad was the best of the three though.

Even after all these years I still get angry when I think of the Parlov decision :fire Even though John was n't at his absolute best in that fight,I still reckon Conteh took it quite clearly.

Conteh. The only advantage Galindez would have is strength. Prime Conteh should be able to outbox him for a decision.
