Marvin Johnson was always in shoot-out fights:

Two tough guys. Galindez faded here but always tough and smart. A fresh Johnson here really caught him right on the money. Johnson just wasnt durable enough throughout his career. What heart though.

Back in the 70's all of Johnsons and Galendez major bouts were shown live on one of the major channels (usually ABC or CBS). Johnson at that time was one of my fav fighters. Galendez is an underrated champion today. In his prime he was a tough hard punching fighter with a difficult style to overcome. Here he was a shop worn fighter fighting the southpaw Johnson in a completely wrong fashion.

I'm a Marvin lover (from Indy) and saw him fight live 10-12 times. Victor was shot by the time they fought.
