I just watched the Holm vs Nunes fight, i picked Nunes to win because she moves and punches like a man. i think if she took up boxing she would beat any female boxer out there, of any weight

 

Exactly - betting is all about focusing on actual results, not potential money. A seasoned pro will watch footage, analyse and make educated guesses based on what he spots. It then comes down to your ability to match opponents up head to head and pick the correct outcome.

Sometimes you can see what the bookies don't and your able to take advantage of this. But the bookies play the odds game too by throwing large odds and making bettors play their bets emotionally and also throwing high odds at unlikely outcomes. I always tell people not to value bet but focus solely on the result.

 

Yeah it went pretty much how we thought it would. To me this was a case of a legit champion taking on someone who WAS a name in the sport that didn't deserve to be in the ring. Happens all too often in combat sports. And lets be real...Holm's entire legacy is beating Rousey but it sells because casuals know the name Holly Holm.
