Am I missing something here, or is there insane value in taking Simon to beat Sebastian Sylvester? At most offshore books you can get Simon at +300 or better (for all you European hustlers out there, that's 4.00 in decmial-style odds). At the book I use, Simon is at +330 right now (4.30 in decimal odds). Obviously the fight is in Germany so a robbery is possible, but DAMN. Simon just took it to Arthur Abraham and showed no fear... dude has mad heart. AA is by far the cream of the crop in the middleweight division, and people were expecting AA to destroy Simon. He's from Philly for God's sake... he ain't no chump. I will admit... I have never seen Sylvester fight. But how can you not like getting 3 to 1 on your money by taking Simon? Does anybody else see any value here or am I crazy? :admin
Yep there is value, well worth a punt. What I would say is Sylvester has a style that should in theory deal with Simon easier than Abraham. Sylvester has a higher more consistent work-rate and decent skills, he ain't gonna be covering up and letting Simon outwork him.
Thanks for mentioning that man, I'm gonna think hard about throwing a 20 down on it with those kinds of odds.
