by reading your post, it doesn't seem to be a confident bet, but more of a wishful thinking bet. if it's what you class a "fun" bet, then just make sure that you put money on that you can afford to lose.

i can't tell you what bets to make, it's your money, but just think long and hard. in my logic, i always think it's better to win small money than to lose small money. basically, i don't just go for the odds, i go for the outcome that i really expect to happen, which normally means you having to put more stake on to win little, but the chances of you winning is alot higher.

the questions you got to ask yourself.

what's the chances of floyd winning the fight by decision?

what's the chances of mosley winning the fight by decision?

whats the chances of mayweather stopping mosley?

what's the chances of mosley stopping mayweather?

what's the chances of the fight going the distance with either fighter winning?

ask these questions as honestly as you can, and then you'll get an idea in your opinion what bet is really worth it.

goodluck with all your bets in the future.

well, good points, but I actually like Mosley to win vs the odds, meaning I think he is a good value at the price, or better than the odds indicate.

I question the theory going around now that Margarito was seriously ill prepared for Mosley. And even if Mayorga gave Mosley troubles he is a completely different fighter than Floyd. I think Floyd is the favorite and likely winner but I honestly feel it could go the other way. One thing I think about is that I doubt Mayweather will hurt Mosley but I'm sure Mosley can hurt Floyd if he can find him.

DLH won a lot of rounds vs Floyd and lost by SD. Sure, Floyd could win this fight 9 rounds to 3 and put on a master class, but there are a lot of other scenarios I can see unfolding too. Floyd fighting a negative fight and not winning rounds, Floyd getting hit with a big shot, Floyd being exposed as a guy that can't hang with an elite welter....Floyd being forced into a war and hurting his hand. I don't know. I certainly am not saying Mosley will win or even that it is likely. But its far more than some tiny little hope. For me, its better than the odds.

And for me, betting is fun....I try to do it intelligently and also enjoy the fights. It will be fun to have a small bet riding and root for the upset but I can't blame anyone for going the other way.

I'll lay the obvious lumber on Mayweather by points at 1/2. Most likely event to take place. And for $hits and giggles I'll take the following fight prop: Will either fighter have a mouth piece knocked out of their mouths during the fight +1300. Best bet of the night ;)

I put down $50 on SSM at +600 decision.

My gut tells me that SSM will need to outright KO Floyd to stop him. If Mosley hurts Floyd but doesn't put him out, Floyd is going on his bike for the rest of the fight.

You have to slightly favor Mayweather, slightly. Is Mosley really 14% to win a decision? I mean Floyd is probably 60% to win IMO, which makes Mosley 40% so I think it's a good bet. I wouldn't lay on Mayweather unless it was like -150 or so (I guess -180 isn't horrible).

I really see this as a close fight. It will come down to effective aggression vs ring generalship and whatever the judges favor. I'm praying for effective aggression.

I put money down on mosley KO and outright. Also a small play on the draw which could be interesting. but I made the mistake of putting more on Shane KO than just outright so if he wins via decision I'll go crazy lol.

The Floyd odds just dont interest me at all (even though I picked him) especially since I'm betting relatively small on this one... I want to enjoy the fight Iol. I wanted to bet on Floyd getting knocked down at least once but the bookmaker i used didn't have it

I had something come up and didn't have a chance to place a bet, which is good, because I would have bet small on Mosley. I saw the fight. No controversy, dominant Mayweather performance. I am sure glad I didn't bet.
I would have hit Ponce De Leon and Alvarez but they were both probably huge favorites anyways.

Cintron is at +400 at sportsbetting and +480 at the greek, if I can get Cintron by KO at +700 or more I like a very small bet on that.

Williams gets hit a whole helluva lot. Cintron can box well.
It could easily turn into Cintron getting his heart tested under pressure and failing, but at 54 he boxes more now and Williams doesn't have the defense of Maravilla.

What can we take from the Margo losses? The Puto is Margarito. aka Mrs Loaded Gloves.

Cintron was full of **** when he said he beat Sergio Martinez, he lost by KO, but Williams lost to Sergio too in a close, great fight, in my mind.

Sergio isn't the puncher Cintron is.

I can see Cintron putting Williams on his ass with a big shot, and boxing defensively during Williams helicopter punching assaults, that is assuming Williams doesn't simply go airborne from catching so much wind with his many punches, and simply fly out of the ring. I think that is why they chose the Home Depot Center, so that Paul won't crash into a roof.

It is also quite possible that Williams gets knocked down and it simply pushes him to another level and Cintron goes "oh ****, now he is mad, I think I just hurt my hand"

    who knows.

I like Cintron at these odds.

Obsessed? It's a forum, dickhead. It took me 15 seconds to look at your thread and write what I wrote.

Any tool that posts his boxing bets online and has the aggressive personality you have deserves to be mocked, especially when you've lost practically every bet you've made and continue to act like you've made money in the sport.
