Seems most intelligent boxing enthusiasts, promoters and networking officials know exactly what's going on and what is in store for Gamboa's future.;)

It's not a potential big money novelty sell in the likes of Amir Khan, it's a near-garaunteed superstar.

Gamboa is good enough now that I would expect him to beat a guy like Rocky Juarez.

I think he, like Povetkin before him, has just come in with a great set of skills unlike anyone else and the fights he's had so far are just to get his name up there, not to teach him anything about boxing.

I like Mijares more but Gamboa can go further here on Earth as God-king than simply God who is restrained by the physical limitations of the human body. A god-King is more along the lines of a superhuman, where as Mijares is both 100% Human and 100% Divine, kind of hard to understand... I know.

He's moving up the ranks quick. With Jimenez and Jose Rojas next, he's going to get a title shot sometime this year or in early 2009. The question is which title holder at 126 would be the one to give Gamboa that shot?

Hopefully his bout with Rojas can be an elimanator, cause i doubt the champs at 126 will fight him if he isn't their mandatory.

Jiminez is a hell of a fight for a guy is his 10th fight that guy KOed former Champ Mike Anchodo so hes a solid fighter. If Gamboa slaughters him then dam.
