    dude has been knock down pretty easily, and has a very leaky defense and chin....his natural talent, Speed, and Power, have made him overcome this so far with relative ease, but the minute he steps in there with a technical boxer with some power, he is going to go to sleep quick.

    Difference is he gets back up straight away and seems unhurt. Khan all over the place like a drunk.

    like I said..mark my words. He's been in there with some weak competition, and last 2-3 outings he has been put down.

    He gets in there with a puncher with some skills, and he is going to sleep

    well Khan was much more protected then Gamboa has been.
    i dont get why so manny people only talk about his chin instead of talking about his exciting and fan friendly style,he may or may not get koed in the future thats a part of boxing. untill then why dont people focus on the positives instead of the negatives.

    oh, don't get me wrong...I love watching the guy. He is great for the sport.

    but the facts are facts: he is gonna go to sleep the way he has been fighthing.

    ok but thats his problem. it could be worse with his talent he couldve chosen to be a runner but he choses to give the fans good fights.

    Gamboa was hurt for the remainder of the round and fought effectively. he held but still didnt fix his problem of leaving himself open. he is very early along in his career. only 12 fights and how many have been televised here in the US. i think at least 3. so we should be seeing a boxer still developing. is he khan? dont know but we will find out in the next 3 or 4 fights because a guy headlining fight cards will definitely be in with some serious guys very soon.

    oh yeah and did anyone notice that he was matched in hand speed by someone who was there to get beat?

    also he seems like his attacks were being timed pretty well too.

    He's been facing better punchers and better fighters than the ones that hurt Amir Khan previously. Khan was hurt by D+ fighters, with 20% KO records. Or even a guy with 0 KO's put him on his ass.

    No comparison at all. Gamboa hasn't even been hurt.

    he is deffo not khan
    khan is not even european level
    gamboa is top level but it is at level he is gonna get KTFOED
    against guys like linares he will go to sleep regularly
    but he is a massive talent at still young so he could sought this problem out but he should sort it out before he goes against top guys at super featherweight
