You refuse to accept them because you HOPE Gamboa is correct here. That's about it.

You think TR, a long standing promotional co. headed by a lawyer would knowing LIE in a suit? Knowing the harm that would cause?

 

Nothing TR has claimed in their suit is out of the ordinary, and you have to admit, the cards are in their favor. Gamboa's actions make little sense.

 

Not in the least. I simply think the "it's just speculation!!!" argument can only be applied to both sides in this case. No one on this board has even seen the details of the suit, nor do we have any idea of the nature and extent of the negotiations that transpired between the two parties.

Yes I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that a boxing promoter would fabricate the truth. I hadn't realized this was such a radical idea.

What's been released of the lawsuit does not say anything at all about the nature of the agreements or communications between the parties. They also don't even have to be lying to be wrong, as the validity of the contract for the fight in particular and for Gamboa's agreements with Oner and Top Rank are precisely the things that are going to be disputed.

 

You mean that ****ing scumbag lawyer/promoter Bob Arum who was caught trying to bribe both the IBF and the NSAC? Nah, he would never lie in a lawsuit.

 

Gamboa lied through his teeth! The fans out to sue him also!
