Floyd should offer Gamboa 40 millions.

do you mean would you take the blows, the months of trainning, the health damages as well?

Lets be straight here. I stay in shape and I'd train, but I'm no professional. I'm sure my fight with Tito wouldn't last long, but am I willing to take 50k for it, right now, you damn right I'd take it. I already know what I'd pay off with it. Hell I may even take an advance on half of it.

As far as Gamboa goes, he'll be ok. He's just getting back to work now and will have regular earnings in due time.

Do you all really not think that 50 has fronted him money under the table? Of course it's more than 50k.

Just remember that Cubans used to train and fight " for free " back in Cuba so $50k is very good considering this is just a comeback fight.

    ;)

JMM fought John for 30 thousand in Indonesia.

50 thousand is a lot if you consider that.

My guess is Gamboa's purse is around $300k, but majority is going to repayments for advancements from 50cent I dont think Gamboa has to pay $1.2 million back that was paid to release him from his contract that is a risk 50cent is taking because he believes in him, and hoping he becomes a PPV star in the near future that can command $3-5 million a fight.

if Gamboa beats Adrien at 135, I think he could face Pacquiao.

The purses will be announced by the commission but Arum doesn't pay much for under card fights cuz Pac gets almost all of the money. The under card fighters get 'the privilege and exposure' but not much money.

Not neccesairly true, Canelo made $1.3 million on the undercard of Mayweather v Cotto, Gamboa is an undefeated world champion, Olympic Gold medalist, he wouldn't fight Rios because he thought $1.2 million was too less, so no way $50k is his real purse, the rest is going direct to 50 cent and won't be listed by the commision as Dan Rafael released the figures already.

Calenlo was not an a TR card. Big difference. You think Arum is paying Curtis under the table? REALLY? Gamboa screwed TR and Curtis pissed of GBP. Gamboa is getting what he can at this point. If Dan released the official purse numbers then that is what TR is paying for his services.
