Mentioning Hamed with Barrera as if they were on the same level would be incorrect.

Everything I wrote is the truth. If there were anything incorrect in my statements,I would be more than happy to admit I was wrong.

so if you dont beat barera you are 'exposed as a **** fighter'

    right

barrera had the perfect gameplan for that fight

he didnt fight his normal fight

    hamed didnt bother to train

Naz ruled his division for years

and technicaly had all four titles.....you act like he is chaves jnr

I agree. It's as if something is missing. RJJ got away with it cause he was so damn fast and his reflexes were insane. When I think of a complete well rounded fighter Barrera or JMM come to mind.

Nowhere in my post did I write "exposed as a ****" fighter. That's YOUR writing.I wrote that he was completely and unequivocally exposed.Read my post again instead of embellishing to your own agenda. The truth is Hamed didn't train FOR YEARS as this is a well-known fact.Hamed's title reign was epitomized by beating pretty good, but nothing special, alphabet title holders like Soto instead of elites like Morales and JMM.And as far as the perfect gameplan is concerned, how about this:Hamed was successful at drawing his pretty good, but nothing special opponents into his kind of off balance slugfest by psyching them out pre-fight with his asinine antics and then taking full advantage while they fought his fight instead of their following a gameplan that would have prevented them from being physically exposed which is exactly how Hamed loved it.The first time he fought an intelligent elite who knew how to box instead of fighting in a undisciplined Hamed induced slugfest,Hamed was exposed. It's that simple. And as far as MAB "not fighting his normal fight",you haven't seen much of him, have you?

ok so using your words "he was completely and unequivocally exposed" as what?

Elites like Morales and Barrera (JMM wasnt a huge name at that point) wernt in Hameds weight class

yes barrera made hamed look like a clown ... but that dosnt mean he was "he was completely and unequivocally exposed"

Why was Hamed one of the top P4P in the last 20 years? Because he beat Kevin Kelly? Hamed was a joke and got his ass handed to him the first time he fought an elite fighter. Then he ran away from the sport.

    Edited for Hamed.

I meant to say p4p punchers of the last 20 years. Hamed isn't one of the best p4p boxers of the last twenty years. My apologies.

I'm so glad you got it right this time.He was completely and unequivocally exposed as certainly NOT being an elite and being overrated and someone that couldn't handle someone that WAS an elite instead of the pretty good but nothing special bunch he was fighting all those years. As far as JMM was concerned,Marquez was Hamed's #1 contender in the WBO for 2 years. And as far as Morales was concerned,Hamed was trashtalking about him in a proposed bout that never came to fruition.

The fact that Hamed retired after losing to Barrera left many questions unanswered.
he could've pushed a rematch or try Morales or Marquez..
Barrera beating Hamed was something i enjoyed ,dont remember another fight giving me more pleasure. But losing Hamed wasnt good for boxing. He could put a show every time he fought.
