Manuel Calvo is very well known in Galicia but nobody else knows who the hell he is.And he didnt even KO the bum. and yes,i disliked Hamed because his arrogance and his disrespect. And Barrera always been one of my favorites boxers. It did give me a lot of joy. Deal with it.
The KD's that Hamed suffered were more down to being off balance than having an issue with his chin.:good
i rank him alongside people like gatti in terms of ATG status hes my favorite ever fighter but that dosnt mean i immediately presume hes the greatest to ever lace up a pair of gloves and people can rate him wherever they feel like just because you dont rate him dosnt mean others dont your opinion isnt the definitive guide to boxing mate
Never said my opinion was the definitive guide to boxingThat's actually quite funny,by the way:good. What I wrote was that the first time he fought an elite,he was exposed, which is exactly what happened.
Bad comparison! If you would like to get the intersection betweeen Gamboa and Hammed then you get "Both are cocky, both have incredible speed, Timing, Awareness in the ring". Stop, that is almost all they share in common. Gamboa is the better boxer, has better ring generalship, footwork and yes defensive tools compared to Hamed. Gamboa couldn't have been humilliated by a Barrera-like in his prime, as happened to Hamed. The assets on Hamed side could be shin, and that he started earlier prof boxing ... Still Gamboa is after three incredible years a unified superchampion, and a world boxing star ...
where does all this humilated bollox come from? Every **** on here seems to think Hamed took a beating of Lacy proportions....he lost by 3 points on the judges scorecards! Hamed retired at 28, Gamboa is 28 now, whos achieved more?
Do you mean you would like to compare what Hamed achieved in a period of 10 years to that what Gamboa in three?
or go and compare it to hameds first 3! hamed won: EBU bantamweight title WBC Super Bantamweight title WBO Featherweight title all in his first three years
