He wouldn't knock any of those guys out ... he's definitely not going to knock out Chris John, Jorge Linares, or Israel Vasquez.

Whatever dude... it's not about you liking these champs or not. It's about facts, Gamboa can definately KO these guys, each and everyone or them, you like it or not. Will it happen? Who knows, all of these guys can outboux Gamboa and even KO him, but the inverse is as true... If you don't think so, then you're lost. Anyway we'll find out soon since John is in Gamboa's short term plans.... ;)

Once Gamboa takes a step up in class he will get knocked out ... he's been hurt too many times ... you can only go to the well so many times.

If his handlers are smart, they will keep him far away from Juan Man Lo!! He wouldn't last 2 rounds with the Puerto Rican beast!!

Gamboa is bulldozing a lot of his opponents out fast, Ive noticed that once pressured he cannot box going backward he finds it very difficult, he also swings wide punched thats how he got caught last time out, elbow or not he was open for a shot. I don't think hes anything special.

What fighter can you name that was effective fighting with his hands down?

I've seen fighters get hit alot but they still manage to keep their hands up ... now he's not going to be the fastest every fight ... so I do see him getting knocked out.

He's been down on 3 different occassions ... and he hasn't reached the world class level yet.

I know DLH and Mayweather didn't face such adversity and when they were in Gamboa's position they were blowing people away as well.

Compare JMM fighting other foes......he's landing at 40%+ rate...when he faught PAC the 2nd go round his connect percentage was similar to pacs...in the mid 30% range.

You're right, PAC does have a sense of where punches are coming from, but he also has the reflexes to get out of the way where normal or average fighters can not. He did that many times with JMM, MAB and EM when he faught them.

So maybe I should have said it was "TOUGHER" for JMM to land on PAC compared to other opponents who lost to JMM.
