This is irrelevant. He's had more experience and is older and more mature than almost every other fighter in their 10th fight, right? This should be mentioned too, no?

The pro game is different from the amatuer's, so yes and no in the same answer.

It is different in that in the pros, you have to hurt, not just to hit. But the amateur experience is directly relevant. I guess it's a bit like 100m versus 200m...different events but if you're good at one, you're probably good at the other and the better you are at one, the better you are at the other too, although, of course, the best at the 100m is not necessarily the best at the 200m, or the other way around, of course.

By the way Decebal, a solid C level in his 10th that brings intangible risks is very good. Jimenez has a punch and a chin...

Khan's best opponent in St Clair is a C- with no punch and was outsized. Limond, Earl and the others I'd rate as D's, to be honest, Limond maybe a D+.

Jimenez is a solid C, then he'll fighter another solid C.

Then I assume after his 11th fight, he'll move into the B's, I expect before his 15th for him to get in there with a good B+ and demolish him, that'd be really incredible. Soto is the B+ I can think of that's around.

    Valero's a C+, won't happen as he's a money maker.

Maybe Linares, another B+, could be a potential opponent.

A demolition of one of these guys puts him on level with the A's.

Even if I agreed with all of that, so what? Does that mean he's ready for Pacquiao NOW?

No, it does not! So I am perfectly right to complain about this kind of hyping up; it's laughable!

He's ready to demolish a B+ right now, which would prove he's ready for Pac, as Pac himself even struggles with B's here and there, view the Solis fight for example.

Get Gamboa in there with Soto or Solis and a quick destruction would prove he's ready to fight the other elite's.

Plus, Pac's easier for him than JMM or Guzman, stylistically. I'd not pick him over JMM or Guzman anytime soon.

Solis fight is a red herring, as you know very well - he underperformed because he was demotivated. Of course Gamboa would be much more motivated to impress against Solis, for example, at this stage of his career.

Tell you what, as soon as Gamboa beats a solid B level who can counterpunch a bit and who can take a punch, we'll talk...

BS....you know he has already tried to get an unbeaten prospect in the ring who then pulled out AND a former champion in the ring, who also pulled out. So that argument is null and void. This is common knowledge.....you're reaching Decebal.

De Jesus could take a punch, having never been down.

Jimenez is an 'average' counter puncher, not substantial and can definitely 100% take a shot, having fought some hitters and never being put down.

So 1 of your criteria's is about to be completed.

December has been a bit of a rebel lately.:yep

Hating on every flash style boxer and not wanting to look at opposition in fair view. Even scoring Mijares-Navarro a narrow Mijares victory?:huh

I think he's just trying to do his own version of getting under people's skin for reaction.
