I think you ar hyping Gamboa waaaaaaaaay to much mate. Think about how Judah looked against guy's of that level when he was at his best, he looks like a world beater, put him in with a guy that puts him under pressure and on the backfoot he folds. I am not saying Gamboa will be like that, but at this stage to throw him in with an in prime genuine top 3-4 p4p fighter in Pac and he would get torn a new one.
I wish Amsterdam was hyping someone else, someone no one's heard about...Gamboa is already a star...Amsterdam is just a glory hunter...:bart
I didn't 'at this stage', I said 'at the end of the year', meaning November-December. He's fighting a legit gate keeper next, then another legit gate keeper in June, then probably someone ranked in July-August, I hope they get him a Soto type guy and he annihilates him. Plus, I picked Pac on purpose, as JMM would beat him badly as it stands now.
Who else can I get away with my style of hyping with? I need Supernatural's that get underrated, just because you are WELL KNOWN, doesn't mean you aren't underrated. Calzaghe was known for years for example and got trashed on for years. My style of hyping is balls to the wall comedic absurdity.:deal And you already underrate Gamboa by saying LIMOND, a journeyman, is better than the last couple of journeymen he's fought.
Well even in novermber next year, Pac is a damn good fighter even if I do not particularly like him as one. The jump in class between the level he has been beating up and Pacquiao is massive, even in that time scale, also styles as the say make fights. Gamboa does have good power, but not anything legendery, he is not going to knock Pac out with one shot even at the end of next year. Gamboa looks like he goes through people, which is exactly what youdo not want to do against Pacquiao, who has a proven chin and I would say equal power. I would see it being a bit of a war and for a fighter with what 12 fights or whatever to go in against a p4p fighter in a war no matter how talented he is has not been done. I think he would not be ready in any shape or form to beat Pacquiao in that timescale, he would get taken deep late on and drowned. Valero on the other hand would be lucky to make it out of round 1.
Gamboa's defence is too well schooled and he'd fight in a more defensive manner against Pacqauio than he is trying to impress crowds against mid range journeymen. Do you think Guzman beats Pac? Gamboa and Guzzy are very similiar.
1. Yes 2. No they are not, :rofl. They have simliar physical attibutes, but their style is nothing a like. Gambo as much as you would like him to be is not a slick counterpuncher.
Yes he is.:deal He's both an aggressive cyclone boxer-puncher and a slick counter puncher, like RJJ at his best used to be. Guzman used to be much more aggressive like Gamboa, and still is, Guzman was leading the attack against Soto and Barrios most of the time for example, he went at Soto full on in the first few rounds and then went defensive/counter punching later on. Gamboa would have done the same if no KO with Soto. Furthermore, Gamboa is a boxing genius, he is a KING, show your respect you ****ing peasant.:deal
Who's that in your avatar? ...Oh.. Some people have been claiming Gamboa could defeat Juan Manuel Marquez and Pacman right now. That is being overrated.
He could defeat Pacman right now, just not JMM yet. But give him another year and JMM will be at the mercy of King Gamboa. If you watch the showtime series 'The Tudors', King Gamboa's not yet out of the first season, a few adjustments need to be made and then he'll be declared head of the church of Cristianity and King of boxing.:deal
