Gamboa is "god"!!!

    Gamboa just shut this guy down and brutally beat him down over 10 rounds. He won every single round. The punch that landed on Gamboa was legit but he was so badly positioned that theres no way he could have stayed up, he got up and was not hurt at all.

    From what it seems Gamboa has a hell of a chin, nothing in this fight can suggest anything other than this. Gamboa can fight with extreme defense, or he can fight applying extreme pressure. He can land single counter punches or he can flurry you down the middle and at angles. He is also extremely strong for his size and can push his opponents around and jump off at angles at any given time.

    For those who are "unimpressed"...wtf more do you want, please explain? Is it because he is referred to as "god" around here and so you let other individuals rating of a fighter effect your own rating of a fighter? IMO thats weak sad and ridiculous.

    Or was it because he didn't knock his opponent out today? Oh..so is Gamboa supposed to be a defensive wizard like Whitaker, have the hand speed of Hector Camacho, with the power of Mike Tyson? I have never in my life seen a fighter with a blend of skill and overall variety of attack that Gamboa has.

    So for you that are highly "unimpressed" with Gamboa despite him winning EVERY given round ---> :finger

    Gamboa was knocked down ... a legit knockdown in fact ...

    I don't think that Gamboa is god but he sure is good ... he has enough skill to over come that ... I think he's going to pay the price for not keeping his hands up ... but its not going to effect him until he reaches elite status.

    I think he can still win a title !!

    even before he pays that ultimate price --

    Your point? BTW that round could have and should have been scored 10-9 at the most, Gamboa was easily winning that entire round along with the fact that he was hardly at least IMO not hurt at all. The guy has a chin.

    add another "o" to "god", then i may still agree w/ you. but the guy certainly has his flaws and a better fighter will make him pay for it.

    i will like to see his chin proven even more buy a guy like valero i believe he has all the skills to beaT VALERO ud HIM OR sTOPPING HIM AND he will beat valero if his chin holds up then after that fight maybe fight a couple of more champs or maybe khan before going after guys like PAC marquez etc....

    In a short time from now Valero will be playing the part of Samuel Peter ala James Toney and get schooled and embarrassed. Gamboa has fought better opposition in 10 fights than Valero has in his entire career.

    Does any one have anything worth reading? As in specifically giving us all an explanation to what is unimpressive about Gamboa winning every round and still being disappointed? This is like Mijares shutting out Navarro over 12 rounds and we still had morons in here saying "unimpressed".

    Don't worry I hope Valero saw tonights fight and gets a false sense of security in taking a fight with Gamboa. IMO all the evidence points to the fact that Valero would get absolutely trashed.
