the best combination of speed and power in featherweight since Pacquiao.

Don't dismiss him being chinny, it's a case of being weakened because of trying to make weight.

I'm sold. Gamboa KTFO Lopez 6 rounds :rasta

He's good but wow he's not the second coming of Pacquiao, and saying dont dismiss him being chinny due to weight issues blah blah.... that's just a future excuse if and when he gets KTFO by Lopez which i beleive he will

Im a neutral fan by the way i am a big fan of both

those quick counters when his opponent comes in, just fit for lopez's style. I wouldn't count lopez out yet. if he can stand gamboa's counter then he can dish his own power punch, and gamboa will definitely go down.

    for now, gamboa by TKO

Lopez should've stayed at 122, he's got no future fighting at 126 and 130, soto will kill him. But gamboa will KTFO him first

Im not sold on his chin but his defense is much improved, he doesn't hang his chin out like he used to.

He has yet to be tested, I think he is gonna be a star but I want to see him in a real dog fight, Lopez would offer that. I think he wins but we shall see.

1 guy crushes a very good club fighter
the other takes longer and kos a very good belt holder...

of course the guy who had the best knockout will always be the favorite on these boards...its called the "Tua Syndrome" Tua kos bum after bum devastatingly and now will crush the klits in 1 round

lopez is just one good solid fighter in the mold of linarez, soto, etc. he's not going any further.

Gamboa is speed, slick and power in the mold of pacquiao. If he moves up in weight, that chin will improve and we got a true P4P material :smoke

gee, that really matters in boxing

kinda like when Jermain Taylor beat Hopkins TWICE ....then got KTFO by Pavlik....so with that said, Hopkins had no chance when he schooled K Pavlik
    :rofl
    nice logic

Fair point but everyone has a bad day at the office right?

    I think:

    Daniel Ponce de Leon KO1
    Cesar Figueroa KO1
    Gerry Penalosa RTD10
    Steve Luevano TKO7

    Prove this no?

you saw how many powerless luevano punches found lopez? faster and heavier gamboa punches will send him to the canvass lol

not really dude, Luevano didn't do much outside the jab and a few body shots. He just missed a few times but you have to credit Juanma for that.

Why did Lopez struggle mightily with the same club fighter?
