Beezy, to answer your question if he is going fight Rios, we need to know if he is even training. I doubt that fight happens on the scheduled date. It will possibly work itself out, but we are going to have to wait longer.
Quite naturally I would say even though maybe a lil bit too soon. Well, he would get there one more fight or two fights more.
As stated by previous people, imo it's a little to soon. IMO I would rank Broner higher then Gamboa at this point in time. And I would still rank Hopkins at 10, if nothing else. But then again, my top 10 is different (though just slightly) then the Ring Magazine top 10. So basically what Im saying is Broner over Gamboa at this point in time, Hopkins over both.
Dude Broner just won a vacant belt against an Argentine patsy. He needed favorable judging against the FW PDL. I'm not saying he's got less potential, and while Gamboa's resume is not great (it IS very good for his level of pro experience), it's way better than Broner's at this point.
Yea I hear you. I just feel like broner is something special, and while Gamboa is great as well, just not quite on broner's level. I understand I'm basing that all off the "eye test". The rios fight has every bit of opportunity to change my mind.
