is an exciting fighter. For all the Pot smokers who were saying hes more potential than floyd and ROy, I hope you have woken up. Floyd was a monster at Super Feather ask Hernandez, Manfredy and Corralles. Yes this kid has fast hands but he is no Roy Jones. Remember this fighter is close to 28 now, and is at his peak, if he is managed well he will win the world title, but i would definately wait till Manny and co depart the division. The fighter he fought yesterday was a C tier fighter who was supposed to lose but extend him, he did both. I gave Gamboa a B for his performance, he did nothing that he wasnt supposed to do.
I second this. All this hype about Gamboa got me exciting - after watching the fight, he's good, but won't be great IMO
Well, i think he wasnt supposed to go down and also he is only 26, a lot can happen in two years, but i do agree with everything else you said. He is at his physical peak right now.

I'm more than happy we could see him go 10 rounds. No disappointment in me, but he should definitely be more patient and work on that defense... Very exciting talent indeed!
