Gamboa is now a "Risk Calculator" and no more a Risk Taker...

I got that line from Larry Merchant during the Pacquiao/Barrera rematch when he said that Barrera is no long a 'risk taker but now a risk calculator'.

That's how I see Gamboa who just calculates the risks he takes in the ring. He doesn't wanna fight reckless which is a style he is more comfortable with but he doesn't really know how to effectively box either, he almost seems to struggle with what type of fighter he wants to be in the ring. In the end he needs to fight a style that he is most comfortable with without worrying what others think of him.

Yeah...... he seems unsure of himself and he looks really awkward at times. I'm not a fan of his leaping lead left hook either. I think i'd take juanma over gamboa. he's more seasoned and a more compact puncher.

    Lopez will knock Gamboa out!

Gamboa should have been disqualified tonight. Abraham was disq because he hit Dirrell while down. Gamboa not only hit his opponent while he was down, he hit his behind the head! Why double standard? Hitting while down = illegal Hitting behind the head = illegal!

He's only been trying to copy Mayweather for so long. Give the kid a chance.
