Gamboa-John in Miami and Juanma-Caballero in Puerto Rico in order for summer?

    Not sure if everyone's seen the interview Arum gave to the scene after the fights but here is a snippet:

    "From what I've seen tonight I'd like these guys to go against every great featherweight out there"...."For this summer I'd like to do a split site with Lopez fighting in Puerto Rico and Gambo in Miami and we'll have it televised together"

    Arum on Chris John and future matchmaking:
    "If there are any other featherweights out there, like Chris John, [we'll] just clean out all the feather weights and when everybody is panting about these guys we'll do a big, big blowout kind of show!"

    Arum on Caballero:
    "Yes, yes, absolutely Caballero I don't know much about him except everyone says he's a great fighter and he says everyones afraid to fight him"..."no question he belongs as maybe the next fight for one of these fighters"

    Those fights would be awesome, but it just won't happen. No way would Arum jeopardize the Gamboa vs JuanMa bout, he's gonna match them up with good but very beatable fighters next.

    Never gonna happen.

    I'm guessing Gamboa will take Ponce de Leon next, who's his mandatory, and that Lopez will get the Santiago-Concepcion winner. Both should be easy wins.

    Hmm, at the prospect of Ahmet putting Gamboa against John....

    LMAO@ the prospect of Arum putting Juanma in with Caballero.... I don't see that happening... Maybe Gamboa/Caballero but I don't see Lopez wanting to fight him at all....
